Chennai, 25 February (H.S.) : Renowned actor and politician Ranjana Natchiyaar has announced her resignation from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), citing strong objections to the party's 3-language policy and perceived hatred towards the Dravidian community.

Ranjana, a prominent figure in Tamil cinema and a member of the Tamil Nadu state executive of the BJP, expressed her deep disappointment and frustration with the party's stance on language and cultural issues. It seems from beginning, she has been quite away from BJP and RSS principals and the philosophy , could not find comfortable space with Sanatan concept.
