New Delhi, February 17 (HS): The Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India has drawn the attention of the general public towards fraudulent recruitment advertisements published by an organization allegedly in the name of the Ministry.

A government spokesperson said that in these advertisements, the National Rural Development and Recreation Mission (NRDRM) claims to have its office at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Road, New Delhi, 110001 and its websites are www.nrdrm.com (http://www.nrdrm.com) and www.nrdrmvacancy.com(http://www.nrdrmvacancy.com) but the Ministry of Rural Development does not work under the jurisdiction of the Government of India, as claimed.

In the above context, the Ministry of Rural Development warns the general public that any recruitment activity carried out by the National Rural Development and Recreation Mission (NRDRM) in the name of this Ministry or its officials may be considered fraudulent and does not have any endorsement. The Ministry of Rural Development does not charge any fee or other charges or ask for applicants' bank account details at any stage of its recruitment process. Also, recruitment information in this department is posted suitably on its official website i.e. rural.gov.in.
