Ayodhya,

31 Dec (HS): The divine and magnificent Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple will be

consecrated today on the occasion of Pratishtha Dwadashi, a sacred anointing of

Lord Ram. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

will participate in this special religious ritual. The Defense Minister will

arrive at 11 a.m. and will participate in rituals for approximately four hours

within the temple complex.

The

Defense Minister will also hoist the flag at the top of the Annapurna Temple

built in the fort. The second anniversary of the consecration of Shri Ram Lalla

is being celebrated with great pomp in the grand temple. Today, traditional

rituals of Yagya, Havan and Puja will be performed. Defense Minister Rajnath

Singh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath along with saints, religious leaders

and a large number of devotees will witness this historic moment. After

participating in the rituals, Singh will address the function organized at

Angad Tila complex. He will return from Ayodhya at 3:20 pm.
