25 Dec (HS): CM Adityanath has paid homage to Pandit Malaviya on his birth
anniversary, describing him as an excellent educationist, visionary leader, and
independence warrior whose values of character and nation-building continue to
inspire future generations. CM Adityanath has also been known to tell tales
about Malaviya, such as a fascinating story between him and a British Viceroy
during the Kumbh Mela, which highlights Malaviya's strong patriotic spirit.
In
a post on X, he mentioned, “A strong advocate of Indian languages, a pioneer of
education and culture, and a humble tribute to Bharat Ratna
Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya on his birth anniversary. By establishing
the prestigious institution of Banaras Hindu University, Mahamana
introduced our generation to high ideals and thought. He was a true
nation-builder; his life is an inspiration to the Indian people.”
