Bhubaneswar, 24 December (H.S.): Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday congratulated the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on the successful launch of the Bluebird Block-2 spacecraft from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, calling it a major milestone in India’s space journey.

In a social media post, Patnaik noted that the spacecraft is the heaviest payload launched to date, marking a significant achievement for ISRO and the country’s expanding space capabilities. He said the mission reflects India’s growing technological prowess and global standing in the space sector.

The former Chief Minister also highlighted that the next-generation communication satellite is expected to play a transformative role in enhancing cellular broadband connectivity worldwide, further strengthening India’s contribution to global communication infrastructure.
