Morigaon (Assam), 24 December (HS): Two friends were killed on the spot in a tragic road accident late at night at Barangabari in Morigaon district. The incident occurred when a motorcycle lost control and rammed into the boundary wall of a Shiv temple.

According to local sources, the victims have been identified as Bikash Das and Anupam Patar. They were travelling on a motorcycle when the rider reportedly lost control, causing the vehicle to crash into the temple wall with great force.

Both sustained severe injuries and died instantly at the scene. Police reached the spot soon after receiving information and sent the bodies for post-mortem examination. Further investigation into the exact cause of the accident is underway.----------
