
Jammu, 22 December (H.S.): Citing adverse weather conditions and concerns over student safety, the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Jammu on Monday cancelled all previously granted permissions for school picnics scheduled from December 22 onwards, officials said.
As per a notice issued by the Office of the Chief Education Officer, Jammu, In view of prevailing adverse weather conditions, the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Jammu has cancelled all permissions granted to government and private recognised schools for picnics scheduled from December 22 onwards.
All earlier orders allowing school picnics stand cancelled ab-initio to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
The authorities have directed all concerned institutions to strictly comply with the order.
