
Guwahati, 22 December (HS): Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya attended the first convocation ceremony of Krishnaguru Adhyatmic University at Nasatra in Barpeta on Monday and conferred degrees on graduating students in the presence of Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal.
Addressing the gathering, the Governor paid tributes to Krishnaguru Prabhu and said the university uniquely integrates academic learning with spiritual education, imparting value-based education to shape responsible and ethical citizens. He described the convocation as a significant milestone for students and congratulated the graduates.
Governor Acharya also felicitated eminent Indian classical dance maestro Guru Jatin Goswami, who was awarded an honorary degree and highlighted the university’s role in blending spirituality with modern education in line with the National Education Policy.----------
