Lucknow,
22 Dec (HS): Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav responded on Monday to
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's two 'namoone' in Delhi and
Lucknow barbs, alleging they were meant at BJP leaders and an open admission of
internal strife inside the governing party. The CM made the statements in the
state legislature while responding to the SP's claims about the unlawful sale
of codeine cough medication. There are two 'namoone' in the country: one in
Delhi and his counterpart in Lucknow. Whenever there is a dispute in the
country, these people flee. And I believe the same is occurring with your
'Babua', Adityanath remarked, referring to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi
and Yadav without using names.
In
response to the chief minister's speech, Yadav wrote on X that the statement
amounted to self-acceptance and demonstrated that the conflict between Delhi
and Lucknow had reached an unanticipated level. Self-admission! Nobody
anticipated the Delhi-Lucknow conflict to get to this stage. People in
constitutional positions should maintain at least some sense of propriety and
not go beyond the limits of decorum, remarked the former Uttar Pradesh
chief minister. He also chastised the ruling party, urging it not to publicize
internal divisions in public. BJP leaders should avoid exposing their party's
internal feuds. Yadav stated in the post that if someone takes offense, they
may be forced to flee.
