22 Dec (HS): The accident occurred
late Sunday night on the Nangal-Chandak road. Qari Iqbal, Ashfaq, Ehtesham, and
Salahuddin were killed. The car was crushed by the force of the accident. The
bodies were excavated by cutting the car. A Creta car collided with the rear of
a soil dumper near the village of Abhipura on the Nangal-Chandak road. Four
people died on the spot. Police arrived at the scene, cut open the car, and
retrieved the bodies and sent them for post-mortem examination. Around 11:15 pm
on Sunday night, near the village of Abhipura, a car collided with a dumper
full of soil due to fog. The impact was so severe that the car was severely
damaged.
The passengers in the car were Qari Iqbal (65),
a resident of Sarai Alam village, Ashfaq (65), a resident of Rahatpur village
in the Mandawali area, Ehtesham (25), and Salauddin (26), all of whom died on
the spot. They were returning from a day-long gathering in the village of
Rahatpur Khurd. The police, who arrived on the scene, took the bodies into
custody and sent them for post-mortem examination. They also identified the
deceased based on the identity cards found with them and informed their
families. The weeping family members arrived at the post-mortem mortuary during
wee hours. Superintendent of Police Abhishek Jha arrived at the scene to gather
information. As of Monday morning, no complaint had been filed in this matter.
