
Nagaon (Assam), 22 December (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday visited Batadrava and inspected the Batadrava Project being developed on the banks of the historically significant Akashiganga.
Batadrava Project will be formally inaugurated by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on December 29. The Chief Minister reviewed the progress of the project, which is being constructed with a focus on preserving the cultural and spiritual heritage of the region while improving infrastructure and amenities for visitors. Officials accompanying him briefed the Chief Minister on various components of the project and the timeline for its completion.
The project is expected to emerge as an important centre of heritage tourism and religious significance in Assam.----------
