Lucknow,
20 Dec (HS): Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda said
on Saturday that medical students previously went abroad for higher education,
but now our students can no longer say that India lacks facilities. India now
has the institutions, infrastructure, and facilities. The medical field is
undergoing significant change.
Union
Health Minister Nadda was addressing the 21st convocation of King George's
Medical University (KGMU) here. He said that KGMU has served humanity not only

medical studies here are providing their services in other countries of the
world. He said that KGMU has a glorious history. It is a privilege to work
here. KGMU has made a place in liver and kidney transplant. Nadda said that
convocation is a golden opportunity for the students. Now you have a big
responsibility on your shoulders. You will have to fulfill your social
responsibility. It is not an easy task to cure a patient. The patient comes to
you with the hope of saving and protecting his life.
