17 Dec (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Rashtra Prerna

Sthal, located in the Basant Kunj Scheme in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar

Pradesh, on December 25. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Bharatiya Janata

Party (BJP) leaders visit the venue on Wednesday to review the ongoing

preparations. BJP General Secretary for Organization Dharampal arrived. Chief

Minister Yogi Adityanath, while giving instructions to officials regarding the

ongoing preparations for the ceremony, said that no shortcomings should be made

in the grandeur of the event.

Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived today to review the preparations for the

inauguration ceremony of the Rashtra Prerna Sthal, scheduled for December 25.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the National Prerna Sthal. For the

event, the Public Distribution System (LDA), the Municipal Corporation, and

other departments are working day and night to beautify the venue and the

surrounding area. Rs. 232 crore has been spent on the construction of this

65-acre National Prerna Sthal. 65-foot-tall statues of former Prime Ministers

Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, and Shyama

Prasad Mukherjee have been installed within the complex. Approximately Rs. 21

crore has been spent on the construction of these statues. A museum has also been

built within the complex to preserve the lives and thoughts of these great

personalities. Officials involved in the preparations provided Chief Minister

Yogi Adityanath with all the information related to the ceremony.

Tourism

Minister has inspected: Uttar Pradesh Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer

Singh also inspected the Prerna Sthal on Tuesday and took stock of the

arrangements. He described the National Prerna Sthal as a symbol of patriotism,

cultural consciousness, and national heroes. Approximately 150,000 people from

Lucknow and surrounding districts are expected to attend the inauguration

ceremony of the newly constructed National Prerna Sthal. Arrangements are being

made for transportation.
