Kolkata, 17 December (H.S.):

Leader of Opposition in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, Suvendu Adhikari, posted on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) late Tuesday night, questioning the impartiality of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed to investigate the Yuva Bharati Krirangan case.

In his post, Suvendu Adhikari asked, Has the SIT been set up to fool People?

He further alleged, Was there a meeting today between a member of the SIT and another Senior IPS Officer (removed during the RG Kar Case) with the Senior-most Show Caused Candidate to advise and draft the response to the Show Cause?

Suvendu Adhikari further wrote in his post, The SIT and the Show Cause issued today are a sham to divert the attention of the People of Bengal.

He tagged the Governor of Bengal, the Chief Minister, and the Home Department in his post.

As of the time of writing, there has been no response from the government or the concerned authorities regarding these allegations.
