Puri Jagannath Temple to Remain Closed for Public Darshan for Three Hours Today


Bhubaneswar, 17 December (H.S.) : The Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri will remain closed for public darshan for three hours today in view of the Diba Pahuda ritual of the Holy Trinity.

According to the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), darshan will be suspended from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM to facilitate the performance of the sacred ritual. The temporary closure will begin after the completion of the Second Bhog Mandap offering.

In a post on its official X handle, the SJTA stated that on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, corresponding to Pausha Krushna Trayodashi tithi, the Diba Pahuda ritual will be observed, necessitating the suspension of public darshan during the specified period.

Devotees have been advised to plan their visits accordingly.
