Mumbai, 17 Dec (HS): Two people were injured in a

gas cylinder blast in Mankhurd suburb of Mumbai. The blast occurred on Tuesday

evening in a chawl near Al-Madina Hotel in Janta Nagar of Mankhurd. Prithvipal

Jaspal (40) received burn 30 percent burn injuries on face, chest and hands,

while Rajesh Khichad (25) received 25 percent burn injuries on face, hands and

legs. Both have been admitted to Sion Hospital and said to be stable.

The roof of a room was damaged in the blast. The

cause of the blast is being investigated.
