Jammu, 17 December (H.S.): JKPCC today alleged that Modi Government stands exposed on National Herald case as the Delhi High Court has rejected the charge-sheet of the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

Referring to the decision of a Delhi Court rejecting the charge sheet of ED against the Congress leadership including Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald case, Pradesh Congress said the malafide and illegality of Modi Govt stands fully exposed before the people of this country.

Addressing a press conference here today JKPCC working president Raman Bhalla, chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma, I/C PCC Hqrs Ved Mahajan said that court has ruled that the ED case is without jurisdiction, it has no FIR, without which there is no case. They said the political motivated prosecution by the Modi Govt over the last decade of the principal opposition party stands exposed before the people of India.

Raising serious questions over the large scale unemployment in J&K, which is highest in the country, JKPCC chief spokesperson said that over 10 years of BJP rule, especially under UT since 2019, have witnessed record number of job scams marring the career of educated youth.

Questioning the recent case of Fire and Emergency Services, he questioned what about those who are responsible for carrying out the illegality and spoiling the career of hundreds of youth spread over years. There were 697 selections, while recruitment of 103 have been cancelled and what about fate of others, he questioned.

Raising questioned over the revelations in the affairs and execution of Rattle mega Hydro Power Project in Kishtwar, the Congress leaders questioned the silence of BJP regarding the allegations of huge electoral bonds and undue pressures over the execution of Project by ruling party. This needs thorough reply and probe into the whole allegations.

Questioning the issue of alleged bias in the selections of football players of Jammu for Santosh Trophy team, the senior Congress leaders demanded an independent enquiry to find out truth and deal with the anguish in the youth of Jammu. The issue of bias needs to be addressed in the sensitive region and only a time bound enquiry and punishment to guilty, if any, as there is no scope of politics in sports and education.

On the question of SMVDU run Medical Institute of Excellence, the Congress leaders blamed BJP for their failure to respect the religious and regional sentiments by not taking care of their rights and now playing politics. Right from Shrine Board management to the Health Ministry, it is BJP which is at the helm of affairs. Even today there is no clarity on the roadmap to solve the issue from the BJP leadership.

Raising serious question, over the delay in releasing the due payments to the poor depositors and farmers in the State Co-operative Agriculture and Rural Development (SCARD) Bank, Congress leaders asked the Chief Minister to intervene into the matter without delay, to ensure release of hard earned money of the depositors.

They also demanded a high level enquiry to find out the culprits in the management of the bank, to cause huge loss to the poor depositors, taking to streets in different parts of Jammu and Kashmir.
