
Kashi,
14 Dec (HS): The seventh group from Tamil Nadu has arrived to participate in
the fourth edition of the Kashi Tamil Sangamam, being held in Varanasi, Uttar
Pradesh. On Sunday, members of this group visited and worshipped Baba
Vishwanath, the presiding deity of Kashi. They arrived at the golden-adorned
court of Kashi Vishwanath. Temple scholars and officials warmly welcomed them amid
a shower of flowers, the playing of the drum, and the sound of the Vedas. The
team members visited and worshipped Shri Kashi Vishwanath amidst chanting of
Vedic mantras. During the visit, Tamil devotees chanted Har Har
Mahadev and Kashi Vishwanath Jai Shambh.
After
the darshan and puja, the team members were taken on a tour of the temple
complex, showcasing the grand and new look of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham.
During their visit, the Tamil devotees were delighted to see the grandeur and
divinity of the temple, along with the anniversary decorations. During the
tour, everyone learned about the Dham's historical form, architecture, newly
constructed facilities, and the ever-growing flow of devotees. Afterward, the
team members dined at the temple's Annakshetra. The Tamil guests praised the
temple management, the traditions of Kashi and the Tamil Sangamam, and Prime
Minister Narendra Modi. Many devotees described their visit to Kashi as
memorable.
