Bhubaneswar, 14 December (H.S.): Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Prabhati Parida will undertake a one-day visit to Rayagada district on Monday.

During her visit, the Deputy Chief Minister will attend the launch programme of a special train under the ninth phase of the Senior Citizens’ Pilgrimage Scheme, which will depart from Rayagada. Through this special train, a total of 775 pilgrims from various districts of the state, along with 25 escort officers, will embark on a pilgrimage to Rameswaram and Madurai.

Following the programme, Prabhati Parida will offer prayers at the revered Maa Majhighariani temple. She will also participate in a review meeting to assess various developmental and administrative matters in the district.
