
Lucknow, 14 Dec (HS): Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry, stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is the world's largest political organization, and the entire community is astounded by its disciplined and democratic functioning. He praised the party's organized membership procedure and the consensus-based election of its national president.
Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said that we are members of the world's largest party, the Bharatiya Janata Party. The world is surprised that the work of making members and electing the national president is done in such a systematic and democratic manner with mutual coordination, which is unimaginable. Union Commerce Minister Goyal was addressing the Bharatiya Janata Party's Organisation Festival held in the auditorium of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Law University here on Sunday after officially announcing the newly elected state president and national council members. He said that on the occasion of Organisation Festival, I am very happy to announce that Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary has been unanimously elected as the president of Bharatiya Janata Party, Uttar Pradesh.
Piyush Goyal gave credit to party workers: Elections are held at 1.62 lakh booths and the results are declared unanimously. All the credit goes to the party workers. He said that the way our leaders Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, and Atal Bihari Vajpayee led the party forward, and the party is continuously expanding under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and National President JP Nadda, are the reasons we have gathered here in such large numbers today.
Names of National Council members also announced: On this occasion, he also announced the members of the National Council. Referring to the total number of 120 National Council members, he listed some prominent names. He congratulated the newly elected party state president and National Council members.
He informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are also included in the National Council as members. Prime Minister Modi has been made a member from Varanasi, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath from Gorakhpur. Additionally, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has joined from Lucknow, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya from Prayagraj, and Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak from Unnao. In the same sequence, Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary has been appointed as a member of the National Council from Sambhal, Smriti Irani from Sultanpur, Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey from Varanasi, Surya Pratap Shahi from Salempur, Swatantra Dev Singh from Banda, and Dr. Ramapati Ram Tripathi from Gorakhpur.
