Former Prime Minister and JDS national president H.D. Deve Gowda has made it clear that the BJP-JDS alliance will continue intact for all the upcoming elections in Karnataka.
Speaking at a press conference held at JP Bhavan in Bengaluru, he said that this alliance will continue in the district, taluk, GBA and assembly elections. He said that there is no fear for the BJP-JDS alliance.
He said that his relationship with Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been good for 10 years. He said that he has never spoken lightly about Modi.
Deve Gowda said that he would write a letter to the Prime Minister to seek compensation from the central government for the damage caused by the floods in the state.
He said that if necessary, he would personally meet with them and convince them to release compensation to the state.
Talking about Union Minister Kumaraswamy, he said that he had not visited the state for a few months due to health problems. Now his health is good. Doctors have said that there is no problem and Kumaraswamy will soon begin his state tour.
