Sambhal, 15 Oct (HS): Acharya Pramod Krishnam,
the head of Kalki Dham said, Zia-ur- Rehman Barq is a relative of
terrorists. These people have spent their entire lives running their business
with money earned through theft and bribery. They have done politics by sowing
hatred between Hindus and Muslims. They have only caused riots and injuries in
Sambhal. Today, this family is at the root of Sambhal's infamy. To restore
peace, it is necessary to impose NSA on them,” Acharya Pramod Krishnam, the
head priest of Kalkidham, said on Wednesday. He said, The honor of the
nation and Lord Ram will never be compromised, no matter who it is. I am not
afraid of anyone, no matter how many lawsuits are filed against me.
In fact, on September 30,
during a Ramlila inauguration ceremony, Acharya Pramod referred to Sambhal SP
MP Zia-ur-Rahman Barq as Ravana. Barq had threatened to file a defamation suit
on Tuesday. Regarding Barq's controversial statement, Acharya Pramod stated that
he did not compare the MP to Ravana. He merely stated that the same arrogance
that Ravana possessed is also evident in Barq and his grandfather. Acharya
Pramod also targeted Barq's grandfather, the late SP MP Dr. Shafiqur Rahman
Barq. He said that his grandfather had stated that Kalki Dham would not be
built as long as he was alive. He instilled hatred in the city's people,
incited riots, and divided them. Today, his grandson is doing the same. Such
leaders have only caused Sambhal pain, not development.
In response to the
defamation threat, Acharya said, They will file a defamation suit against
me. I welcome it. However, Ravana was a great scholar and a mighty warrior.
People like Barq cannot even match Ravana. Let them file not one, but ten
lawsuits, but I will not back down. He further said, File 10
lawsuits, but I will not compromise in the name of the nation and Ram. I am not
afraid of anyone. I will continue to speak out against those who speak against
Ram and the nation. Silence against insults to religion and the nation will no
longer be tolerated in this country. The public has already recognized those
who harbour terrorist mindsets.
