Nuapada Bypoll: BJP Candidate Jay Dholakia to File Nomination on Thursday


Bhubaneswar, 15 October (H.S.): BJP candidate Jay Dholakia is set to file his nomination for the upcoming Nuapada Assembly by-election on Thursday. He will submit his nomination papers to the election officer at 2:45 PM. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Odisha BJP President Manmohan Samal are expected to be present during the event, according to BJP state vice-president Biranchi Narayan Tripathy.

Tripathy further stated that the occasion will also witness the presence of the Deputy Chief Minister, various state ministers, MPs, and MLAs. Jay Dholakia is expected to lead a grand rally with over 40,000 workers and supporters while filing his nomination.

Earlier in the day, at 11:30 AM, the BJP will organise a massive programme in Nuapada, where over 100 current sarpanches, ward members, former sarpanchs, and other grassroot leaders from various parties are expected to join the BJP.
