Jammu, 15 October (H.S.): The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has ordered the constitution of a Capacity Building Unit (CBU) in the General Administration Department (GAD) to strengthen coordination and monitoring of training and skill enhancement initiatives across departments.

As per a Government Order, the CBU will be headed by the Commissioner Secretary to the Government, GAD, with the Director of J&K IMPARD and other senior officers from the Monitoring and Administration Sections as members.

The unit will serve as a centralized nodal body to plan, facilitate, and monitor all capacity-building programmes in the Union Territory.
