
Kathmandu, 04 September (H.S.): One person trapped inside the tunnel of the Trishuli-3 ‘A’ Hydropower Project during the devastating floods that struck Nepal on August 26 was rescued alive on Thursday, ten days after the disaster.
The Nepal Army said that the individual was brought out of the tunnel alive. According to the army, rescuers received indications early Thursday morning that the sound of a person could be heard from inside the tunnel during the ongoing search and rescue operation. Following the development, the search for people trapped inside the tunnel was intensified.
