
Guwahati, 12 August (HS): Dibrugarh Warriors registered their fifth win of the Imperial Blue Packaged Drinking Water Assam Premier League 2026 after defeating Nagaon Rangers by eight wickets at the ACA Stadium in Guwahati on Wednesday.
Chasing 111 for victory, Dibrugarh Warriors reached 114 for two in 17.3 overs, with Diwiz Pathak leading the chase with an unbeaten 64 off 58 balls, including nine fours. Rituraj Biswas contributed 33 off 34 balls.
Earlier, Nagaon Rangers were bowled out for 110 in 20 overs. Jitu Ali top-scored with a fighting 42 off 35 balls, while skipper Anurag Talukdar scored 26. Sidhartha Sankar Baruah was the standout bowler for Dibrugarh Warriors, claiming three wickets for 15 runs.
Warriors lost Jay Borah early, but Pathak and Biswas steadied the innings with an 84-run second-wicket partnership. Biswas was run out in the 14th over, but Pathak remained unbeaten to guide his team to a comfortable victory.
