MOSCOW, August 11 (HS/RIA Novosti) - The United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden and Canada are the largest suppliers of parts for Ukrainian drones, Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik told RIA Novosti.

The United Kingdom is the most active supplier of main units and components for unmanned aerial vehicles used as killer drones against civilians. Germany supplies weapons in large quantities, and Sweden is also involved. Canada plays an active role, Miroshnik said.

He added that this is not an exhaustive list.

At the very least, these countries, even in their official rhetoric, emphasize as much as possible that they are supplying the Ukrainian regime in Kiev with unmanned aerial vehicles, which have caused civilian deaths in both Nizhnekamsk and Belgorod, Miroshnik noted.

On Monday, head of Russia's Tatarstan Republic, Rustam Minnikhanov, said that Nizhnekamsk had come under a brutal Ukrainian drone attack. The attack targeted both industrial and civilian facilities. According to the latest data, 13 people were killed, including one child, and 75 people sought medical help, with 21 of them hospitalized.

A day of mourning was declared in the republic. The Russian Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case into the incident. Minnikhanov's office later said citizens of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan had been among those killed.

Russia believes that arms supplies to Ukraine hinder the settlement, directly involving NATO countries in the conflict. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov noted that any shipments containing weapons for Ukraine would be a legitimate target for Russia. The Kremlin said that the West's arms supply to Ukraine was not conducive to negotiations and would have a negative effect.
