Bhubaneswar, 01 August (H.S.): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to undertake an aerial survey of flood-affected regions across the state on Saturday to assess the current situation and evaluate the extent of damage caused by recent heavy rains and flooding.

The survey, scheduled to commence at 10:00 AM, will cover some of the worst-affected districts, including Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, and Keonjhar.

During the aerial inspection, the Chief Minister will review the overall flood scenario, closely monitor the impact of swollen and overflowing rivers, and assess damage to critical infrastructure, agricultural lands, and residential areas.

The exercise aims to provide a comprehensive first-hand assessment, enabling the state government to further strengthen relief, rescue, and rehabilitation measures in the affected districts.
