Pune, 06 July

(HS): Three people were buried in debris in Patan village in Mawal tehsil of

Pune district in a landslide, while 23 others were rescued. A family was

suspected to under the debris.

According to the

District Disaster Management Officer the tesildar and revenue officers rushed

to the site. The rescue team is facing problems due to slush in the village due

to heavy rains. The rescue operation is being carried out with the help of

villages. Thirty members of the National Disaster Response Force from Pune were

summoned to help the local authorities.
