
New Delhi, 30 July (H.S.): Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC), a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, has delivered its best-ever financial performance in the first quarter of financial year 2026-27, achieving record quarterly revenue, profit after tax (PAT) and net worth. The company also maintained its track record of zero non-performing assets (NPAs) during the period.
According to the unaudited standalone financial results for the quarter ended June 30, IRFC’s total income increased to Rs 8,391.34 crore, compared to Rs 6,918.24 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. The company’s profit after tax (PAT) rose by 10.40 per cent to Rs 1,927.21 crore, compared to Rs 1,745.69 crore during the same period last year.
The company’s net worth reached a record level of Rs 58,791.95 crore as of June 30, 2026, compared to Rs 56,748.76 crore as on March 31, 2026. During the quarter, the Net Interest Margin (NIM) stood at 1.48 per cent on an annualised basis, while the company’s Assets Under Management (AUM) remained at Rs 4.79 lakh crore.
IRFC stated that despite expanding its diversified loan portfolio, it has successfully maintained its achievement of zero NPAs, reflecting the continued strength and quality of its loan book.
IRFC Chairman and Managing Director Manoj Kumar Dubey said that the first quarter of financial year 2026-27 marked a strong beginning for the company. He said the record revenue, profit and net worth demonstrate IRFC’s diversification strategy under the “IRFC 2.0” vision and its commitment to maintaining zero NPAs while ensuring high-quality assets.
Dubey further said that the company remains committed to strengthening its presence in railway-related mobility and other allied sectors while contributing to the country’s infrastructure development.
