TEL AVIV, July 29 (HS/RIA Novosti) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has described the conversation he had with US President Donald Trump in the Oval Office on Tuesday as one of the best meetings they had.
I had an excellent meeting with President Trump… One of the best meetings with the US president, our friend Donald Trump, Netanyahu said.
They discussed shared objectives, including preventing Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon, the Israeli prime minister added.
The White House said the talks took place in a positive and productive atmosphere. Trump said the meeting was very good and that many important subjects had been discussed.
The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump had given Netanyahu a noticeably diminished welcome at the White House.
