(HS): A father figure in the field of journalism and former Chief Editor of

Marathi Daily Tarun Bharat, Laxmanrao Joshi, passed away on Tuesday in Nagpur due to old

age. He was 90.

Joshi helped and

groomed many budding journalists, who then rose to very high positions in the

field of journalist.

He was known a

mobile encyclopaedia and a very humble person, who was ready to extend help to

anyone who approached him.
