Mumbai, 28 July (HS): Actor Suneil Anand, the son of

renowned Bollywood actor and director Dev Anand, passed away following a heart

attack in London. He was 70. His niece Jeena Narang confirmed the news of the

death.

Jeena on behalf of the family has thanked all those

who supported the family during hard times and requested to maintain dignity of

the family.

Suneil was the only son from his wife and actress

Kalpana Kartik. He ventured into the film industry through Dev Anand’s film ‘Anand

Aur Anand’ released in 1984.
