New Delhi, 28 July (H.S.): A major leadership change has taken place in the business operations of Swiggy’s quick commerce platform Instamart. Instamart Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Amitesh Kumar Jha has resigned from his position, and former Myntra CEO Nandita Sinha will take over the role.

Swiggy, one of India’s leading online food delivery and quick commerce companies, informed the stock exchanges on Tuesday that Amitesh Kumar Jha has stepped down as the CEO of its quick commerce division, Instamart. According to the company’s announcement, Nandita Sinha will assume charge as the new CEO of Instamart from August 3, 2026. Sinha previously served as the CEO of Myntra.

According to the company, Jha, in his resignation letter addressed to Swiggy Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer Sriharsha Majety, said, “I am resigning from the position of CEO of Instamart to pursue other opportunities outside the organisation.”

Meanwhile, Nandita Sinha, while speaking about her new responsibility, said, “Instamart is at the centre of everyday shopping for consumers in India. I am excited to work with my colleagues, partners and consumers to take forward the next phase of its growth.”
