New Delhi, 26 July (H.S.): The domestic bullion market witnessed a bullish trend during the early trading session on Sunday, with both gold and silver prices recording gains. Due to the rise in prices, gold became costlier by Rs 560 to Rs 610 per 10 grams across most bullion markets in the country. Meanwhile, silver prices surged by Rs 5,100 per kilogram during the opening trade.

Following the price movement, 24-carat gold was trading between Rs 1,44,930 and Rs 1,45,080 per 10 grams in most bullion markets across the country. Similarly, 22-carat gold was being sold in the range of Rs 1,32,850 to Rs 1,33,000 per 10 grams. Silver prices also witnessed a sharp rise, with the precious metal trading at Rs 2,40,000 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

On a weekly basis, both gold and silver prices recorded gains amid continued fluctuations in the market. During the previous week's trading, 24-carat gold became costlier by up to Rs 1,800 per 10 grams. Similarly, 22-carat gold prices increased by up to Rs 1,650 per 10 grams on a weekly basis. Silver also witnessed a rise despite volatility, with its price jumping by nearly Rs 10,000 per kilogram over the week.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,45,080 per 10 grams, while the price of 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,33,000 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, the country's financial capital, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,44,930 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was available at Rs 1,32,850 per 10 grams.

In Ahmedabad, the retail price of 24-carat gold was recorded at Rs 1,44,980 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,32,900 per 10 grams.

Apart from these major cities, Chennai recorded 24-carat gold prices at Rs 1,45,090 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,33,010 per 10 grams. In Kolkata, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,44,930 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,32,850 per 10 grams. In Bhopal, the price of 24-carat gold was Rs 1,44,980 per 10 grams, whereas 22-carat gold was available at Rs 1,32,900 per 10 grams.

In Jaipur, 24-carat gold was being sold at Rs 1,45,080 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,33,000 per 10 grams. In Patna, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,44,980 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,32,900 per 10 grams. In the Lucknow bullion market, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,45,080 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was available at Rs 1,33,000 per 10 grams.

Like other parts of the country, bullion markets in Karnataka, Telangana, and Odisha also witnessed an upward trend in gold prices. In the capitals of these three states — Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar — 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,44,930 per 10 grams. Similarly, 22-carat gold was being sold at Rs 1,32,850 per 10 grams in the bullion markets of these cities.
