Jalaun, 25 July (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited

Jalaun on Saturday, where he gifted 374 development projects worth Rs 1275

crore to the district in a grand program organized at the District Sports

Ground. The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone and inaugurated these

projects. Along with this, while distributing assistance to the beneficiaries

of various public welfare schemes, he transferred an amount of Rs 13 crore 14 lakh

30,000 to the accounts of the beneficiaries under the Uttar Pradesh State Rural

Livelihood Mission. The keys of the houses were handed over to the eligible

beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, while certificates were also

given to the beneficiaries of the Chief Minister Sukanya Yojana.

Jalaun is famous all over the country for its glorious history, bravery and

cultural heritage. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath began his address by paying

homage to Jalaun's presiding deity, Jalaun Wali Mata, At Bairagarh's Sharda

Mata, Maharishi Ved Vyas, and Jalwan Rishi. He said that Jalaun and Kalpi are

renowned throughout the country for their glorious history, bravery, and

cultural heritage. He said that Kalpi's paper and peas are the district's

unique identity, and the confluence of the Panchnada is the region's natural

heritage. The Chief Minister said that through the One District One Product

(ODOP) scheme, Kalpi's paper industry has gained a new identity and is now

making its mark globally.

Jalaun will benefit from BIDA's plan: The Chief Minister said that there was

a time when Bundelkhand was known as a bandit-infested region, forcing its

residents to migrate. Targeting the opposition, he said that the same people

whose policies led to Bundelkhand's backwardness are now shedding crocodile

tears. He said that the Bundelkhand Expressway has become the region's new

identity, and industrial development is gaining momentum in Jhansi district

through the Bundelkhand Industrial Development Authority (BIDA), which will

also benefit Jalaun.

Earlier, Bundelkhand used to suffer from drought

and darkness: The Chief Minister said that Bundelkhand once suffered from

drought and darkness, and the terror of dacoits was prevalent. But today,

through solar energy projects, the entire region is moving towards

illumination. He explained that work is progressing rapidly under the Jal

Jeevan Mission to provide drinking water to every household. The Uttar Pradesh

government has also undertaken significant work in the area of cow

protection. Referring to Jalaun's Rangauli Gram Panchayat, he said it has

become the first Gram Panchayat in the district to rise above the poverty line.

The mafia was crushed to dust: Speaking on law and order, Chief Minister

Yogi Adityanath said his government has worked to end mafia rule in the state.

He said that strict action has been taken against the land mafia, sand mafia, cattle

mafia, and other criminals. He reiterated that strict action will be taken

against anyone who tampers with the future of youth. He said that Prime

Minister Narendra Modi's clear message is that those who tamper with the future

of youth will be punished with up to life imprisonment.

The government will not spare any culprit in paper leak cases: The Chief

Minister stated that the government will not spare anyone found guilty in cases

of exam irregularities and paper leaks. He stated that 47 officials found

involved in the NEET exam leak have been dismissed simultaneously in the last

24 hours, and strict action has been taken by seizing their properties. He said

that Prime Minister Narendra Modi personally cares about the youth and is

committed to securing their future by communicating with them late into the

night.

The Chief Minister also launched a scathing attack on the Samajwadi Party

and the Congress. During his address, the Chief Minister also launched a

rule, funds meant for Bundelkhand's development were looted. He alleged that

robbery was committed in the name of development, and corruption and extortion

invested in public development and welfare.

Daughters felt unsafe in the state: The Chief Minister said that previously,

the law and order situation in the state was very poor, and girls felt unsafe,

but today, women are safe in Uttar Pradesh. He said that now no gangster or

mafia dares to look at women and girls with an evil eye, as they face jail or

severe punishment.

Money reaching directly into the bank accounts of beneficiaries with just

one click: He said that previously, money sent from the central government was

lost to corruption, but today, under the double-engine government, benefits

from all government schemes, including pensions, are being delivered directly

to beneficiaries' bank accounts with a single click. Traders are also now

operating their businesses without fear and returning home safely.

Irrigation and water projects will increase farmers' income: Chief Minister

Yogi Adityanath said that irrigation and water projects are being implemented

rapidly in the state, which will increase farmers' income. Furthermore, the

development of data centers and new technologies will create new employment

opportunities for the state's youth. He said that the government is

continuously working towards making Uttar Pradesh the country's largest

economy, and Bundelkhand will become an important center of this development

journey.

'pilgrimage' region. “In our Bundelkhand, the country's first 'Solar

Expressway' is being built. Bundelkhand was not just looted by SP-Congress, it

was ravaged..The people here will never forgive them,” he added.
