Bhubaneswar, 25 July (H.S.): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has extended his best wishes to Team India as the country’s athletes gear up to compete at the Commonwealth Games 2026.

In a social media post, the Chief Minister said that as Team India takes the field, the hopes and blessings of 140 crore Indians are firmly behind the athletes. He expressed special encouragement for Odisha’s sportspersons — Tapan Mohanty, Tapeswaranath Das, Pranati Nayak, Dinesh Kumar and Animesh Kujur — as they represent the nation on the global stage.

Majhi expressed hope that every performance would reflect courage, excellence and exemplary sportsmanship, bringing glory to the nation and making the Tricolour fly high.

He also conveyed his best wishes to the entire Indian contingent, urging them to strive for excellence and achieve glory for the country.
