New Delhi, 24 July (H.S.): The Central Government is set to amend the 2024 law related to paper leaks to deal strictly with such serious offences. According to sources, the government will introduce a bill in Parliament on Monday.

The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Friday approved amendments to the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024.

The proposed bill includes provisions for setting up fast-track courts for the speedy disposal of cases related to paper leaks and imposing stricter punishments on those found guilty of such offences.
