
New Delhi, 24 July (H.S.):
The Cabinet has approved a multi-tracking railway project covering three districts of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, which will add around 46 kilometres to the existing railway network of Indian Railways.
The Cabinet has also approved the India Industrial Development Scheme — Chemicals, also known as the Grand Chemical Scheme, for establishing three special chemical parks across the country.
The total financial outlay for the scheme is Rs 3,030 crore, and it will be implemented from the financial year 2026-27 to 2030-31.
