New Delhi, 20 July (H.S.):

Indian shooters are set to compete at the ISSF World Cup Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun 2026, scheduled to be held in Hangzhou, China, from July 20 to 29. A strong contingent comprising experienced Olympians and promising young shooters will represent India in individual and mixed team events. The medal competitions will take place from July 22 to July 28.

The Indian squad includes Olympic medallist Manu Bhaker along with leading shooters such as Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, Esha Singh, Suruchi, Sift Kaur Samra, Sonam Uttam Maskar and Anish Bhanwala.

In the rifle events, Parth Rakesh Mane, Himanshu Dhillon, Shahu Tushar Mane and Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil will represent India in the men’s 10m air rifle event. In the women’s 10m air rifle competition, Elavenil Valarivan, Sonam Uttam Maskar and Sakshi Sunil Padekar will compete for India.

In the men’s 50m rifle 3 positions event, Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, Neeraj Kumar and Rudrankksh will participate. The women’s team will feature Aashi Chouksey, Vidarsa K. Vinod and Sift Kaur Samra.

In the women’s 10m air pistol event, Suruchi, Sanyam and Esha Singh will lead India’s challenge, while Kedarlings B. Uchaganve, Kamaljeet and Akash Bhardwaj will compete in the men’s category. Manu Bhaker, Esha Singh and Rahi Sarnobat have been selected for the women’s 25m pistol event, whereas Anish, Onkar Singh and Bhavesh Shekhawat will represent India in the men’s 25m rapid fire pistol event.

In shotgun events, Udhveer Singh Jaji, Bhowneesh Mendiratta and Vivaan Kapoor will compete in the men’s trap event. Pragati Dubey, Kirti Gupta and Rajeshwari Kumari will form the women’s trap team.

The men’s skeet team will consist of Gurjot Singh Khangura, Parampal Singh Gurun and Abhay Singh Sekhon, while Ganemat Sekhon, Darshana Rathore and Yashasvi Rathore will represent India in the women’s skeet competition.

India will also field teams in the 10m air rifle mixed team, 10m air pistol mixed team and trap mixed team events.
