Prayagraj, 19 July (HS): The seventh day of the Combined

Annual Training Camp (CATC-69) of 15 UP Battalion NCC reflected the dedication

and resilience of the cadets as they continued their rigorous training schedule

despite intermittent rainfall. The adverse weather failed to dampen the

enthusiasm of the cadets, who actively participated in all planned activities

with great spirit and discipline.

The day commenced with Physical Training (PT) followed by

drill, where cadets displayed determination and commitment while training under

challenging weather conditions. Live firing practice also continued as

scheduled, enabling cadets to further enhance their confidence and weapon

handling skills under the supervision of qualified instructors.

A guest lecture-cum-demonstration was delivered by an

officer of the Uttar Pradesh Traffic Police, who sensitised the cadets on the

importance of road safety, responsible driving, traffic regulations, and civic

responsibility. Through practical examples and interactive discussions, the

officer inspired the cadets to strictly follow traffic rules and become

ambassadors of road safety in society.

In the evening, a lively Just A Minute (JAM) session was

conducted by Commanding Officer Col. Ritu Srivastava Rawat to provide the

cadets with a refreshing break from the day's rigorous training schedule. The

Commanding Officer encouraged the cadets to speak confidently on a variety of

impromptu topics, promoting spontaneity, communication skills, quick thinking,

and self-confidence. The interactive session was filled with enthusiasm,

laughter, and active participation, making it one of the most enjoyable

activities of the day while strengthening the bond between the cadets and their

Commanding Officer.

Commanding Officer Col. Ritu Srivastava Rawat informed the

press that the enthusiasm shown by the cadets despite inclement weather

reflects the spirit of discipline, perseverance, and dedication that NCC seeks

to instil in the youth. She appreciated the valuable contribution of the Uttar

Pradesh Traffic Police in educating the cadets on road safety and responsible
