
New Delhi, July 12 (HS): Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal will embark on a five-day visit to Spain, Belgium and Finland from July 13 to strengthen trade and investment ties and explore new avenues of economic cooperation with the three European countries.
According to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the visit aims to deepen bilateral commercial engagement and promote collaboration in key sectors. The Indian delegation includes representatives from leading companies engaged in advanced manufacturing, clean energy, digital technologies, gems and jewellery, food processing, healthcare and design.
During his visit to Spain on July 13, Goyal will participate in a business roundtable with Spanish and Indian industry leaders to discuss opportunities in sectors such as automotive, renewable energy, railways, artificial intelligence, semiconductors, food processing and tourism.
The Minister is also scheduled to hold meetings with senior government officials, business leaders and industry associations in Belgium and Finland to enhance trade, investment and technology partnerships.
The ministry said the visit forms part of India's continued efforts to expand economic engagement with Europe, attract investments, strengthen supply chains and promote collaboration in emerging technologies and innovation.
