Warangal/Hyderabad, June 30 (HS): BJP National President Nitin Nabin on Monday described the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) as part of the tukde tukde gang, alleging that such groups were attempting to weaken the country and asserting that the BJP would counter their agenda.
Addressing a public meeting during his three-day visit to Telangana, Nabin said organisations seeking to divide the country would not succeed.
Virus and cockroach-like parties are emerging in the country. These are people who want to hollow out the nation. They belong to the 'tukde tukde' gang, and the BJP will teach them a lesson, he said.
His remarks came amid the ongoing protests by the CJP at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the alleged NEET-UG paper leak issue.
Later, interacting with students at an engineering college near Hyderabad, Nabin said India's youth were contributing to nation-building and rejected the perception that Generation Z was anti-establishment.
Referring to youth movements in other countries, he said Indian youth were focused on the country's progress and development.
During his Telangana visit, Nabin also criticised the Congress government in the state, alleging that it had failed to fulfil its election promises. He accused the Congress of following a pattern of making promises without implementing them.
Taking a swipe at Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, Nabin said he was a part-time politician, while BJP workers remained dedicated to public service round the clock.
Nabin is on a three-day visit to Telangana to review organisational activities and interact with party leaders, workers, students and various social groups ahead of the next Assembly elections.
