Hyderabad, June 29 (HS): BJP National President Nitin Nabin on Sunday called upon party workers in Telangana to intensify grassroots outreach and strengthen the organisation with the goal of forming the next government in the state.

Addressing booth presidents of Greater Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Malkajgiri in Hyderabad during his three-day visit to Telangana, Nabin said the BJP could come to power only through continuous public service and sustained public movements. He urged every party worker to dedicate themselves to expanding the party's reach among the people.

Earlier in the day, Nabin inaugurated the BJP's Ranga Reddy Rural district office and virtually inaugurated district party offices in Adilabad, Asifabad, Nirmal, Kamareddy, Siddipet, Medak, Wanaparthy and Nagarkurnool.

He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi was working towards the vision of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat and expressed confidence that the BJP would also come to power in Telangana. He asserted that the state would witness faster development under a double-engine government.

Addressing party workers, Nabin said the BJP had grown from two Lok Sabha seats to become a major political force through dedicated grassroots work. He urged booth-level workers to strengthen the party at every polling booth and ensure victory in all upcoming elections.

Referring to Hyderabad as Bhagyanagar, Nabin said, The destiny of Bhagyanagar will change, and the people of Bhagyanagar will walk with the Bharatiya Janata Party.

He alleged that both the Congress and the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) had failed to fulfil the aspirations of the people of Telangana. Criticising the previous BRS government over the Kaleshwaram project and accusing the Congress government of failing to implement its election promises, Nabin said only a BJP government could ensure the state's overall development.

Recalling the BJP's support for the Telangana statehood movement, he said late leader Sushma Swaraj had strongly advocated the creation of Telangana in Parliament.

Later, Nabin held a meeting with BJP MPs, MLAs, MLCs and senior leaders at the party's state headquarters. The meeting discussed organisational strengthening, public outreach and strategies for upcoming political programmes. He asked party leaders to highlight the alleged failures of the Congress government and take the achievements of the Narendra Modi government over the past 12 years to the people.
