
Lucknow, 26 June (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi
Adityanath will visit the Barahj area in Deoria to launch and lay the
groundwork for 106 development projects totaling Rs 456.38 crore. The event, to
be held in Baraan, will largely focus on improving regional connectivity,
agricultural safety, and infrastructure. CM Yogi will dedicate 25 finished
projects to the public, with an emphasis on flood management and erosion
prevention along the Saryu and Rapti rivers.
New academic buildings and hostels for Kasturba Gandhi
Balika Vidyalayas will also be opened. The Chief Minister established the basis
for 81 new initiatives. Major road widening and strengthening projects were
initiated, including the 16-kilometer Naurangia Hata-Gauri Bazar-Rudrapur route
and the enormous Sonu Ghat-Barahj route. A large bridge in Bhadila Awwal village
will be constructed as part of the new infrastructural upgrades.
“Today, a new chapter in development and public welfare will
be auspiciously inaugurated in Deoria, the sacred land of the revered Deuraha
Baba. The inauguration and foundation stone laying of 106 development projects
costing over Rs. 456 crore in the Barhaj and Rudrapur Assembly constituencies,
along with the distribution of certificates to beneficiaries of various public
welfare schemes, will take place. This campaign of development and public
welfare will form the foundation for new hope, new opportunities, and new
prosperity in the life of every family,” Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi
Adityanath mentioned in a post on X.
