
Lucknow, 26 June (HS): On the occasion of Chhatrapati Shahu
Maharaj's birth anniversary, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath pays
tribute to the pioneer of social justice and protector of the disadvantaged.
Throughout the state, several social equality programs have been organized.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath frequently pays praise to Shahuji
Maharaj, describing him as an ardent advocate of the abolition of
untouchability and social equality. The Uttar Pradesh government and several
political parties organize activities to remember Shahu Maharaj's contributions
on his birth anniversary. During his reign, Shahu Ji Maharaj made significant
contributions to education, reservation, and social equality, and his ideology
is admired by all prominent politicians, including Chief Minister Yogi
Adityanath.
UP CM remarked in a post on X, “On the birth anniversary of
'Rajarsi' Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj, a staunch advocate of social equality
and education, humble tribute. The efforts made by him for the eradication of
untouchability, the spread of education, and strengthening social unity will
forever continue to inspire us all.”
