
Sivasagar (Assam), 25 June (HS): The Indian Air Force carried out a military exercise at the historic Joysagar Pond in Assam's Sivasagar district on Thursday, drawing the attention of local residents and visitors alike.
The drill continued for nearly half an hour and featured a series of coordinated aerial operations. As part of the exercise, paratroopers made precision jumps into the water body from helicopters flying overhead, demonstrating rapid deployment and operational preparedness.
The exercise showcased the capabilities of the armed forces in conducting airborne missions and emergency response operations under challenging conditions.
