Lucknow, 24 June (HS): Following a tragic fire in a

three-story building in Lucknow's Aliganj area that claimed 15 lives, a

spokesperson for King George's Medical University (KGMU) provided an update on

the injured on Wednesday. He stated that the majority of the victims were discharged

following primary care, with one patient remaining in ICU and stable. According

to KGMU spokesperson KK Singh, the hospital received seven injured people, the

majority of whom have been discharged following treatment. We received 7

injured people, 5 of whom were released following first aid and primary care.

According to Singh, two survivors, including a child, were discharged after

receiving treatment for a leg injury. He also spoke about the condition of the

boy seen in widely circulated video jumping from a building during a fire.

A child whose video went viral while leaping from a building

was happily spared, although he fell on a rod, damaging his spine and suffering

numbness in his lower legs. The patient has been admitted to the ICU, his vital

signs are stable, and he is not in danger. A CT scan and MRI were performed,

and it was determined that surgery was not necessary; he is currently being

treated with medicines, Singh added. The hospital representative said that all

essential medical tests had been undertaken, and surgery was not required.

Earlier on June 22, a fire broke out at a three-story building in Lucknow's

Aliganj neighborhood, which contained a game and animation studio. The fire

killed 15 people, including students, trainees, and employees at the

institution.
