
Lucknow, 20 June (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi
Adityanath will unveil a large development package for the Bundelkhand area,
inaugurating and laying the groundwork for 221 development projects totaling Rs
1,766 crore in Lalitpur district today at 11.30 a.m.. This significant effort
prominently showcases a newly constructed 300-bed Rajkiya Medical College,
which will develop a strong healthcare infrastructure in the region. The newly
operationalized Lalitpur Medical College and 300-bed state-of-the-art hospital
are the highlights, with the goal of addressing the region's long-standing paucity
of specialist medical services. The Rs. 1,766 crore development plan focuses
mainly on developing healthcare, education, connectivity, and public welfare in
the area. This visit symbolizes a continuation of the state government's huge
development and economic push for Bundelkhand.
UP CM remarked in a post on X, “The land of valour,
grandeur, and rich cultural heritage, Lalitpur, will today bear witness to a
new chapter in development. Through the inauguration and foundation stone
laying of 221 development projects, including a state medical college, at a
cost of Rs. 1,766 crore, an opportunity will be gained to impart new momentum
to healthcare, education, basic infrastructure, and public welfare in
Bundelkhand. This effort of the double-engine government will prove to be a
strong foundation for a prosperous and self-reliant future of the entire
Bundelkhand, including Lalitpur.”
