New Delhi, 15 June (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday highlighted the importance of diverse ideas, talents and creative perspectives in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.

Sharing a Sanskrit subhashita, the Prime Minister said every individual possesses a unique way of thinking and working, and that such diversity serves as a driving force for new ideas and opportunities.

In a message, Modi said that just as water from different sources has its own distinct taste, every person's talent, vision and contribution is unique.

He noted that the coming together of diverse ideas and capabilities creates pathways for innovation, entrepreneurship and progress.

The Prime Minister shared the Sanskrit verse: “Pinde Pinde Matirbhinna, Kunde Kunde

Navam Payah; Jatau Jatau Navacharah, Nava Vani Mukhe Mukhe.”

Explaining its significance, Modi said the verse reflects the idea that every individual has a distinct perspective and creative approach, and that such differences constitute the greatest strength of innovation.

He said the diverse talents and ideas present in society collectively contribute to development and progress.

The Prime Minister added that India's innovation culture is rooted in this spirit, with people from different backgrounds and experiences contributing to nation-building through their ideas and capabilities.
